This one-hour seminar looks at important changes in the application of LED technology to outdoor lighting. We will consider how new optics can enhance the comfort of pedestrians, how new controls are addressing code requirements and energy conservation, and how lighting and product design can influence community safety and environmental quality. This course is AIA certified for 1 CEU for HSW credit. There will be a tour of the facility after the presentation for anybody who would like to participate. Lunch is provided by Signify Lighting from Panera Bread.


Ken Willfong brings 27 years of industry experience to Signify North America (formerly Philips) as a Senior Manager, Technical Sales Lead and Regional Product Marketer. His career focus has been in commercial outdoor lighting with experience that includes Category Sales management for the Urban|Municipal|Roadway segment, a National Sales Manager post for Philips Wide-Lite in addition to a variety of inside and outside roles in Sales, Marketing and Service disciplines. He is Philips LED certified and a registered AIA presenter.
